Group size: 2 to 12 players
Pitch structure:
1. Equipment: Viking chess
2. Field size: Rectangular playing field (5 x 8 meters) – can be adjusted depending on the space and number of players.
3. Playing area: Stake out two opposing baselines and sidelines, either on grass, sand or a flat surface
4. Structure:
o King: Place the king in the middle of the board.
o Kubbs: Each team places its 5 kubbs along its own baseline
o Corner posts: Determine the size of the playing field

Rules of the game:
1. Start of the game:
o The two teams take turns throwing a throwing stick at the king
To determine the starting team. The team that scores closer to the king without him overturning begins.

2. Goal:
o The goal is to knock down all of the opposing team's kubbs and finally the king.
3. Gameplay:
o Throw: Teams take turns throwing the 6 throwing sticks at the opponent's kubbs
o Knocking over kubbs: If kubbs are knocked over, the opposing team must throw them in Throw the other team's half of the game and then set it up (field kubbs).
o Elimination of field kubbs: These kubbs must be knocked down first before standing on the kubbs of the baseline is targeted.
o Throwing distance: Players are allowed to throw from the position of the frontmost kubb as soon as Field kubbs stand.
o Knocking over kubbs: If kubbs are knocked over, the opposing team must throw them in Throw the other team's half of the game and then set it up (field kubbs).
o Elimination of field kubbs: These kubbs must be knocked down first before standing on the kubbs of the baseline is targeted.

4. win:
o When a team has knocked down all of their opponent's kubbs, they can target the king. If the king is knocked over backwards through the legs, that team wins.
